Roberta, a trainer certified by the CNVC, has offered NVC trainings to Buddhist teachers, retreat centers and monasteries around the world. She received ordination from Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in 1997, was a founding member of the Zen Peacemaker Order and has studied and trained with many Buddhist teachers and sanghas. She leads a small Buddhist practice group in her home in Asheville, North Carolina.

Roberta is an activist, parent and facilitator of leadership trainings, public conversations, dialogues, mediations and visioning and strategizing sessions. With private groups, families and individuals, she offers coaching, mediation, classes and trainings that integrate NVC and Mindfulness into all aspects of personal, family, communal and organizational life. I love the topic Mary has offered for these blogs- what’s new in NVC. Something new- at least in relation to the inception of NVC- is the integration of NVC into many spiritual paths by NVC trainers and practitioners.
